RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Solutions Architect in Mercer County, NJ.Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Solutions Architect with strong Project Management capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Linux systems administration along with the ability to effectively manage projects from conception to completion. This role will primarily focus on identifying and resolving system issues, coordinating Linux patches and upgrades, and overseeing various IT projects.Responsibilities:Project Management:- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to delivery
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays
- Identify system issues and troubleshoot effectively
- Collaborate with IT team members to diagnose and resolve complex problems
- Implement solutions to enhance system performance and reliability
- Perform Linux server administration tasks including installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Manage Linux patches and upgrades across multiple servers
- Monitor system performance and security, and implement necessary improvements
REQUIREMENTS:
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
