Position Overview:
This position designs technical/system architectures to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet business needs, align with enterprise architecture standards, and advance the architecture toward the future state. Solutions include projects, products, systems (including applications, technologies, processes, and information), shared infrastructure services, and shared application services. The incumbent works with project teams and sponsors to provide enterprise solutions to specific business problems across any domain.

Essential Functions:

• Leads evaluation, design, and analysis for the implementation of a solutions architecture based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities, value streams, business requirements, and enterprise standards.
• Works closely with the project teams to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with what is being promised throughout the project or product lifecycle.
• Provides consulting support to developers on a broad range of technologies, platforms, and vendor offerings to drive targeted business outcomes.
• Develops enterprise reference architecture components.
• Provides deliverables reference models and architecture designs to support architectural governance to assess the impact of new and ongoing technology investment.
• Guides and helps community of practices (CoP), agile teams, and product owners to align with the overall enterprise architecture governance.
• Monitors the current-state portfolio to identify deficiencies through the aging of the technologies used by applications, or misalignment with business requirements.
• Analyzes business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determines corresponding enterprise solution designs and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including solutions architecture, technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development.
• Solid understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends.
• Knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network, and security.
• Understanding and knowledge of SDLC methodologies (such as waterfall, Scrum, and DevOps).
• Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps.
• Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences.
• Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Technology neutral: remains unbiased toward any specific technology or vendor choice and is driven by business results.
• Valid driver's license.
