The Position: We're looking for a Solution/Product Manager - Fulfillment Centers

The Solution/Product Manager for Fulfillment becomes the focal point for the Organization. They will be responsible for the preparation, development and maintenance of the overall strategy and direction of the solution.
The Solution Manager manages the line of solutions and owns their products/solutions from the strategic planning phase to the development and go to market phase making sure new products & solutions are developed according to customer needs and launched successfully in the target marketplace. As the main interface between Sales/Customer Management, business development, engineering and the technology office, the Solution Manager is ensuring the creation of maximum customer value, maintained and continuously improved over the entire solution lifecycle. They manage the innovation (staging) process from idea to execution and facilitates a fast execution speed steering proposal, engineering and technology teams to accelerate time to market while maximizing product/solution margins.

The successful applicant will report to the Diversified Automation Systems and Electro mobility Segment Leader.

Duties and Responsibilities

Main areas of responsibilities are:

  • Responsible for Strategy and roadmap creation for the defined products and solutions
  • Build business cases to support product initiatives with input from customer group and business development
  • Translating customer needs into product requirements before starting and following the process of new product/solution developments, based on a thorough market analysis
  • Prioritizing the R&D backlog for its product/solution area and making sure that innovation input from the technology office is tested back with customers through business development.
  • Responsible for Time to Market (TTM) and project milestones to optimize quality and time to market
  • Work in close contact with Segment leader to define value walk to maximize customer value and product margins
  • Responsible for all aspects of assigned products from concept to actualization, including product testing, pricing, and anticipating demand.
