Job Summary:

We are seeking a student majoring in computer science (preferably a senior year undergraduate or someone in a graduate program with IT Development knowledge and a strong work ethic). This is a paid internship with a 3-4-month assignment timeframe. The successful candidate will collaborate with project stakeholders and senior leaders to contribute towards the growth and quality of the Print Solution system and processes within the company. This will be an opportunity for a student to apply academic experiences into real-life principles. Our goal is to provide our intern a meaningful experience with exposure to several aspects of Print Solution and related systems.

Main Accountabilities:

• Works closely with the Print Solution QA/BSA/Dev team to assist with testing updates to existing products, and delivery of new products
• Applies college/university curriculum knowledge within this role
• Gains firsthand experience within an insurance environment including to gain product and industry knowledge
• Assists in creating test plans, participates in all testing phases from functional through end to end, assists in identifying data quality issues, utilizes Jira to log issues, attends Agile sprint ceremonies and adheres to Agile principles
• Will gain exposure to Agile deliveries, Scrum, Microsoft Teams, Jira, .csv creation and imports, Testmo, XML, secure file transfer and logging, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Adobe Acrobat Compare. Google Cloud Platform, interfacing with project stakeholders

Qualifications:

• 4th year college student with a major in Information Technology
• Experience from prior internship, work experience, or course work
• Knowledge of any of the following:
  • Agile deliveries, Scrum, Microsoft Office and Teams, Jira, .csv creation and imports, Testmo, XML, secure file transfer and logging, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Adobe Acrobat Compare. Google Cloud Platform

• High level of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
• Detail oriented with strong focus on code and product quality
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Intellectual curiosity and tenacity to figure the why and how
• Comfortable asking questions and providing updates
• Confident and learns quickly
