Job DescriptionSOFTWARE ENGINEER
A leading software- and services-led enterprise provider in the financial, retail and hospitality industries is seeking a Java Developer to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the migration of 2 data centers from on premise to Google Cloud Platform.
QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of Java development experience in a linux environment
  
• Experience developing applications using Spring Boot
  
• Experience working with relational databases Oracle and Informix
  
• Google cloud experience with GKE, Compute Engine and PubSub preferred; will consider similar experience with other Cloud providers
  
• Experience working with CI/CD using GitHub Workflows
  
• Experience with a production deployment for an application
  • building pipelines for GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
    

DAY-TO-DAY

• Working in the Digital Banking SW Engineering organization
  
• Attending Scrum meetings for the GCP migration
  
• Deploying applications and building pipelines for Google Kubernetes Engine
  
• Working mainly with back end development for the Cloud migration
