A Global Provider of Financial Services Technology Company is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Trenton, NJ.

Role Description

The Software Development Engineer designs, develops, tests, installs, and maintains applications and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business. Provides design and modeling and to clarify client technology functionality. Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions. Supports existing systems and is responsible for developing UI technical aspects of a project.

The Software Development Engineer will serve as primarily a front end UI developer for the application which in an internal custom built application used by executives to review and approve technology portfolio projects. Developer will be responsible for production support and new development specific to the application. The role requires working with key stakeholders from the business as well as backend developers. The role requires technical development skills as well as innovative thinking to design optimized user friendly / intuitive UI.
