Position Details:

CSG offers a robust summer internship program based in the Chicagoland area that provides meaningful work assignments and projects that immerse students in CSG's culture. The internship is designed to provide practical work experience highlighting what an individual would do in a similar full-time role with the ability to make a business impact. You'll be paired with a mentor, receive support from your manager, and have access to the entire CSG employee community to ensure your success.

The selected intern will work on the CSG's Ascendon product within the Services group and will focus on delivering quality custom web experiences and/or custom backend integration layers based on the individual's experience.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform standard software development assignments (software requirements specification, design, develop code, unit testing, etc.) which are typically a significant portion of a larger project, adhering to defined methods, techniques, and delivery practices
• Select sound techniques to solve problems and make design recommendations under direction of mentor.
• Make recommendations for software product and process improvements based on technical knowledge

Minimum Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communications skills at the business and technical levels

Ability to work full-time out of our Chicago office from June- August

Education:

Students currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field with an anticipated graduation date in 2022 or 2023
