ABOUT THE JOB

The Cedar Knolls House Hard to Place Group Residence serves girls ages 12 to 21 who exhibit a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges stemming from acute and/or chronic traumatization. All of the youth are referred by the Administration for Children's Services. The Group Residence provides supervised living units and programs of therapeutic and recreational services that emphasize family interaction and strengthening of community support networks, as well as increasing independent living skills.

The Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for clinical supervision, staff performance evaluations, as well as reviewing client charts, including service and discharge plans. Requires familiarity and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards of regulatory bodies and of the Jewish Board of Family & Children's Services.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct staff Training & Development

  • Provide direct service to clients on an as needed/required basis
  • Provide individual and group supervision of all program and support staff.
  • Monitor Consumer meetings, as required.
  • Monitor all individualized assessments/ case management/ service plans.
  • Review Case Management/ Service/ Discharge Plans with clients and staff.
  • Participate in Case Management/ Service/ Discharge Plan meetings.
  • Supervise MSW students, as assigned.
  • Assume all on call administrative/crisis duties, including evening, weekend and holiday's.
  • Serve as back up to Administrative Supervisor

TO QUALIFY

The Jewish Board is currently looking for talented professionals of all cultures, religions, races, and gender expressions with the following qualifications:

  • LMSW, Master's Degree in related Mental Health discipline
  • Three years of experience with SED children/ adolescents and or case management needed
  • Excellent writing skills and computer literacy preferred
