SMT Machine Operator
Leesburg, VA

Job Description/Functions:

Set-up and operate SMT machines and manufacture SMT assemblies
This position performs the function of operating and/or programming surface mount assembly equipment. This includes using either a manual, semi-automatic or automatic solder paste stencil machine; loading the proper components onto Siemens Placement Machines; operating the reflow oven; operating AOI machine and performing quality inspections at each stage to ensure correct assemblies are manufactured.

Qualifications Required/Job Specifications Included:

High School Diploma or GED required
Six months or more experience with SMT Functions or automated equipment. Further on the job training will be provided.
Component identification, ability to read, follow rules/instructions, understand basic circuit assembly processes
Must be able to read assembly documentation
Work well with other employees as a team and pay close attention to detail and neatness
Interface with process engineering to identify/resolve problems
Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable ISO processes
