The Site Shift Supervisor is responsible for providing off-hour leadership across the Elmore complex. This includes providing safety feedback to employees, auditing operating areas, investigating EHS incidents, maintaining positive employee relations, and coordinating off hour maintenance support as needed.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Audit site with a focus on safety contacts, housekeeping, and working with employees to resolve EHS issues. Initiate investigations for EHS related incidents. Act as a resource to the emergency response team.
  • Maintain positive employee relations through routine interactions with employees. Follow up on employee related issues as needed. Communicate with appropriate line managers and the Human Resources department on issues that need further follow up.
  • Provide support to off-shift maintenance personnel.
  • Lead special projects as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • HS degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to work a swing shift schedule

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
