The Industrial Account Manager (IAM) is responsible for all duties associated with supporting the existing customer base as well as assisting in the sales process and revenue generation at new accounts. The IAM will provide technical assistance internally and at customer facilities, perform demonstrations, provide training, and be a solutions provider and advocate of our customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Interact with existing customers to enhance their operations and provide support for the company's industrial product lines.
• Knowledge of coatings related equipment and processes.
• Proficient in coatings application and product sprayability characteristics.
• Assist in the sales process on assigned accounts or where needed.
• Communicate effectively with store associates to improve competitive position and customer service levels.
• Learn the competitions' strengths and weaknesses.
• Aid the store manager in resolving customer complaints or problems.
• Remain acquainted with all competitive products and programs.
• Use tools to increase accuracy and efficiency in customer ordering and inventories.
• Troubleshoot customer issues.
• Assist in manufacturing, product evaluations, testing, and analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• High School Diploma/ GED
• At least 3 years of sales experience, industrial preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet weekly sales goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
