Description

Essential Functions : To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:

• Receive constructive performance feedback
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Obtain and sort orders by placing them on respective pallets.
• Load the appropriate trailer with the completed orders and making sure that orders are on the truck before a designated shipping time.
• Shrink wraps product to pallet to secure articles for shipment.
• Operate electric pallet jack to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping area to storage or truck.
• Label all shipping pallets with appropriate shipping labels
• Follow safety rules for personal protections and the protection of others; including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform quality audits on shipping cartons
• Run and maintain print and apply area
• Package and tape all shipping cartons
• Brick stack load all cartons on to the trailers
• Bill and provide packing slips
• Ensure accurate weight specifications for each outgoing carton
