Right now, our Bonney Lake, WA store is hiring a Full Time Shift Lead!

Salary: $17.25 Per Hour

Position Summary: The Acting Shift Lead is in charge of providing direct supervision to employees. They perform leadership, management, and organization tasks to ensure team members work efficiently during their shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Acting Shift Lead responsibilities Includes the following and other duties as assigned:

  • Open the store and get the task list started for the day
  • Prepare the stores and the cash registers for opening
  • Report to the store manager
  • Execute the store plan for the day and report any concerns to management once they arrive
  • You will not be responsible for hiring, firing, or discipline

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
  • 6 months -- 1 year of relevant experience
  • Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills
  • Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and concensus

Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Cultural Competency: Demonstrate cultural competence; specifically, awareness, attitude, knowledge, willingness and skills to work effectively with a culturally and demographically diverse population

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret hard data and metrics. Ability to write creatively and articulately with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and average. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra when working on spreadsheets. Ability to create and manage departmental budget.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel and PowerPoint.

Other Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of aShift Lead

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Washington State Driver's License required

Other Qualifications: Self-motivated; resourceful, creative; high integrity; problem solver; looks to resolve issues; positive can-do approach; and ability to build effective working relationships.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear and type. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
