A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Develop a detailed understanding of the SFDC core application architecture, as well as integrated applications such as cVent, SAP, Eloqua and data warehouses.
  • Serves as a system design liaison for functional enhancements.
  • Facilitate interviews to gather formal business requirements, document current process, and design future state.
  • Translate and document user requirement(s) into Functional Specifications or ‘How It can be done’ in tools being used.
  • Utilize technical skills to design/build/configure/deliver business solutions while maintaining existing functionality in a complex Salesforce, cVent, Eloqua, etc. environment. 
  • Design, propose and document Enterprise Change Requests (ECR’s) for updated and new data integrations.
  • Defines, documents and coordinates integration testing requirements.
  • Advises business team members on business process options.
  • Analyzes complex issues and presents in easy to read process/data flows.
  • Develop strong business acumen, including an understanding of company's  products, markets, competitors, customers, and business processes.
  • Create/manage project management plans, run weekly project team meetings and drive tasks toward completion. 
  • Deliver efficient and meaningful stakeholder communications to drive awareness and progress toward common goals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • SFDC Administrator Certification

PRINCIPAL LEVEL:

  • 7+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree

OTHER EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of experience developing on Salesforce.com platform; demonstrated experience in developing custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and triggers within a complex (+3 business units) SFDC organization
  • 1+ years of experience in working with cVent and/or Eloqua.
  • 1+ years of experience working on data quality efforts to cleans, enhance/enrich and maintain high levels of data quality

  • Previous company's  experience
  • Preference given to current company's  employees
  • Priority consideration will be given to local applicants
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst and/or systems consultant including the development of business requirements and test plan documents
  • Solid understanding of system design and development lifecycles
  • Experience with SF mobile configuration, Lightning, Apex programming, Visualforce pages, and Data Loader
  • Preference given for additional Salesforce certifications  such as Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant or Marketing Cloud certifications
  • Strong organizational skills and experience, and the ability to participate in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to identify areas for process improvement and recommend/implement solutions; experience with process map development
  • Understanding of databases and how to extract/analyze data
  • Proven creativity and problem-solving skills; ability to work around obstacles and solve problems with minimal direction
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with business users, technical staff and executive management
  • Strong organizational/time management skills; ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible with a demonstrated ability to embrace change
  • Experienced with visualization tools such as Tableau and Business Objects
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Consults with business stakeholders to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify complex business problems and needs turning those needs into system requirements.
  • Provides technical expertise for system functional specifications and deploys new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner.
  • May configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, system, and integration testing to meet business requirements.
  • May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

  • Contributes to defining the direction for new products, processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy with a significant impact on work group results .
  • May manage large projects or processes that span outside of immediate job area.

  • Problems and issues faced are difficult, moderately complex and undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation .
  • Develops solutions to moderately complex problems, and/or makes moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products independently to enhance performance of job area.

  • Represents organization as a primary contact for specific projects and initiatives;
  • communicates with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels .

  • Typically provides guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.
  • Typically manages major / moderately complex projects, involving delegation of work and review of work products, at times acting as a team leader.
REQUIRED KNOWMLEDGE AND EXPEREINCE :
  • Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • May have broad knowledge of project management.
  • Requires a University Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
