Overview

Steampunk is looking for a ServiceNow Architect to support one of our federal customers. This leader will spearhead the effort to modernize the agency information security program. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who enjoys applying the latest technology to modernize enterprise IT delivery and risk management. The candidate must have a proven ability to learn quickly and leverage ServiceNow to solve real world problems and deliver solutions to promote security automation and process improvement.
Contributions

• Modernize the transition of business process into Service Now application to create self service catalog and lead process improvement and automation.
• Assesses, implements, and analyzes IT controls to match business objectives ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and regulations.
• Provides expertise to forward the maturity of the Risk Management and CMD programs.
• Works with process owners to document current processes and re-design/document processes to be more efficient and result in strengthened internal controls.
• Support Service Now team to develop and mature CMDB, CAM and IRA modules by organizing and applying updated policy and workflows.
• Authors, monitors, tracks and supports execution of corrective action plan to improve ServiceNow maturity.
• Conducts benchmarking and research to identify performance gaps against industry standards and best practices. Generates benchmarking datasets.
• Identifies trends and patterns in datasets to determine performance drivers, and presents insights and recommendations based on the analysis to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Develops and maintains Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and monitor the performance of the requirements.
• Develops and maintains dashboard(s) for performance reporting. Provides ongoing implementation, change management, and strategic communications and documentation support.
• Reviews all current state processes, provides analysis and recommendations to improve current processes and to address process gaps.
• Develops and maintains process mapping, depicting processes and workflows across organizational boundaries.
• Provides training, support, and monitoring/assessments for implementation of processes.
• Develops sustainable mechanisms to document, store, and retrieve all IT policies, standards, and processes.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of experience supporting Enterprise IT programs.
• Experience with Service Now modules perferred.
• Experience with federal policy and NIST RMF a plus.
• Approved technical certification

Steampunk is a federal contractor subject to Executive Order 14042 and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.223-99 implementing the order. Therefore, this position requires full vaccination for COVID-19, except in jurisdictions where the mandate is barred by a court ordered injunction.
