Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead technical administration tasks involving the identification, prioritization, and resolution of issues within on-premise and cloud-based server, network, and voice environments.
- Spearhead operational system design and maintenance projects, including evaluation, budgeting, implementation, updates, upgrades, and project-related setups for both on-premise and cloud-based systems.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system performance and optimize costs.
- Proactively monitor on-premise and cloud-based server, network, and voice systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and anomalies, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure service delivery aligns with SLAs.
- Maintain current knowledge of company products, processes, and industry best practices, as well as Microsoft products and methodologies for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and provide support to end-users.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure up-to-date system documentation.
- Ensure the confidentiality, privacy, and security of organizational and customer information.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, particularly within the Microsoft cloud ecosystem, and share knowledge with the team to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide support for security systems as needed.
- Fulfill other duties as requested.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; alternatively, four years of relevant work experience may be considered.
- At least seven years of experience in Enterprise-level system administration, networking, security, and infrastructure.
- A minimum of four years of experience with Hyper Converged Infrastructure (such as Nutanix, VxRail, etc.) and administration of modern hypervisor environments like VMware, Nutanix AHV, or HyperV.
- A minimum of two years of experience with the M365 ecosystem (including Office, Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics, Power Apps, DataVerse, InTune, etc.).
- Extensive experience and comprehension of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Active Directory Services Interfaces (ADSI).
- Thorough experience with Windows Server OS and Microsoft Azure, coupled with proficiency in automating, scripting, and optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Competence in managing and troubleshooting enterprise-level systems like Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, and SQL Server.
- Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to devise innovative solutions and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to proper grammar and syntax.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, showcasing the capability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments.
