Job Description 

The Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, defining and implementing technology solutions that support the mission and operational needs of current and prospective customers. This individual will have extensive experience in enterprise technology, solution architecture, artificial Intelligence based technologies, software development, process re-engineering and technical leadership. The Senior Solutions Architect will have a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and have a proven track record of delivering complex solutions that meet business needs. Additionally, they will possess strong technical writing skills, allowing them to document solution designs and provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders and customers. 

The Senior Solutions Architect is responsible for guiding customers through their digital transformation journey by thoroughly understanding their requirements and developing solutions to meet their needs. They will lead cross-functional teams in the planning, design, and deployment of secure, scalable, and supportable technology solutions. They will possess a deep knowledge of the latest advancements in cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management, the Senior Solutions Architect will also translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for non-technical stakeholders. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities 

• Develop enterprise solutions that include high-level design diagrams, system diagrams, and technical roadmaps. Ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, and supportable. 
• Work closely with customers to understand their business requirements and translate them into technological solutions. 
• Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, design, and deployment of technology solutions. Ensure that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities, and that project timelines are met. 
• Document solution designs, including high-level design diagrams, system diagrams, and technical roadmaps. Provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders and customers. 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management. 
• Guide customers through their digital transformation journey by developing solutions that meet their business requirements and support their long-term goals. 
• Lead project delivery, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management. Ensure that projects meet the satisfaction of the customer. 
• Work closely with the Business Development teams to understand customer requirements and present solutions that meet those needs. Provide technical expertise, writing and support during the proposal process. 
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and team members. Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned on project goals and objectives. 

Education & Experience  

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field (required) 
• Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field (desired) 
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in technology solution design and delivery in a Senior Solutions Architect role.  
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management.  addition, experience with application project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall (required). 
• Experienced with gathering customer requirements and translating them into a technology solution. 
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• A deep understanding of customer experience (CX) and user experience (UX) design principles and practices.  
• Experience with user research, prototyping, and testing. 

Certifications  

• Desired Certifications: One or more of the following: 

• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation  
• Cloud Certification: AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWARE 
• HL7-CDA: Health Level 7 International (HL7) Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) 

Security Clearance  

• Candidate must be a US Citizen 
• Candidate must be able to obtain security clearance or pass background investigation supporting respective agency
