Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: 680 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Participate in medium- to large-scale projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information; writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with project team and cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs; and interacting with project manager to provide input on project plan. Participate in the work of other small groups of engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects by proving pertinent documents, direction, and examples; identifying short and long term solutions and timeline; reviewing and providing feedback for proposed solutions; and performing design and code reviews of changes. Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information; engaging support teams to assist in the resolution of issues; formulating an action plan; performing actions as designated in the plan; interpreting the results to determine further action; performs root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues; and completing online documentation. Provide support to the business by responding to user's questions, concerns, and issues; identifying short- and long- term solutions; and facilitating resolutions. Participate in the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design by partnering with the product management, project management, business and user experience teams; and obtaining cross-function approvals. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Build features that enables Walmart.com customers to search and buy aftermarket vehicle accessories that fits their vehicles. Own Fitment Reports that enable Sellers to identify and improve product listing quality around ACES and PIES fitment data Develop and maintaining scalable, fault tolerant, low latency, distributed Microservices and Web Services using Object Oriented programming language and related frameworks along with Test Driven development using Modularized Testing Frameworks such as Junit.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Experience developing Microservices using Java, Rest API, Webservices and Spring Boot. Experience with Cloud Platforms including Google Cloud Platform and Azure Cloud Platform. Experience with Big Data Technologies including Apache Spark and other Big Data Tools. Experience with Multithreaded programming using an Object-Oriented programming language including Java. Experience using SQL and NoSQL database including Oracle and Cassandra. Experience with Asynchronous feed processing using Apache Kafka. Experience with automated DevOps Pipelines including Jenkins. Experience with Application Build Tools including Maven, Gradle, and Artifactory. Experience with monitoring and Logging tools including Splunk, Dynatrace, and Graphana. Experience developing and maintaining test suites using frameworks including Junit. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $182,073/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
