Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken NJ 07030

Duties: Develops highly scalable services and solves complex software problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology. Gains exposure to various emerging technologies used in Marketing and E-commerce platforms. Develops cloud native applications to achieve scaling in operations. Drives projects of high visibility across the organization Participates in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements. Translates requirements into technical solutions. Collaborates with cross functional teams. Writes and develops code, conducts unit testing. Communicates status and issues to team members and stakeholders. Collaborates with cross functional teams. Troubleshoots open issues and bug-fixes. Enhances design to prevent re-occurrences of defects, ensuring on-time delivery.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 1 year of experience in software engineering or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years of experience in software engineering or related area.

Skills required: Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST Services, Relational DBMS, PostGRES, and MySQL. Experience developing scalable cloud native microservices. Experience with API design and micro-service architecture. Experience with NodeJS and NPM Development Framework. Experience with Front-End development using ReactJS Framework, NoSQL Databases including DynamoDB, and Logging libraries including Splunk. Experience with Web development using Typescript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JSON. Experience with Event Driven Architecture and messaging infrastructure including Kafka or SQS. Experience with API development using GraphQL, CI/CD Configuration and utilization through Jenkins and GitHub. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Cloud Technologies including Azure, GCP, and AWS. Experience with Unit Testing including JUnit, Jest, Mockito, and Spring Boot Test Suite.
