Ardurra is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer/Construction Managerto join our staff in Phoenix, AZ.

Primary Function

Oversee and manage construction contractors and inspecting contractors' work to verify compliance with plans and specifications.

Primary Duties

  • Manage the daily operational aspects of all construction management, administration, and inspection (CM/CA+I) services
  • Manage the interface between RPA and all clients for CM/CA+I services including Client first point-of-contact, resolution of client issues, engagement with contractors, project management, and interface with client and contractors on any/all legal issues
  • Drive and sustain Construction Management organization profitability
  • Maintain a fully staffed inspections organization and maintain an effective training and certification process
  • Assist CM/CA&I business development activities including research and development of SOQ's and proposals
  • Develop scope of work estimates for new contracts
  • Responsible for the preparation and review of reports on construction progress.
  • Responsible for administration of the construction contract
  • Completes work consistent with required policies and procedures

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Arizona PE license required with 10+ years of experience in CM / CA&I Consulting
  • Field leadership experience on roadway and/or bridge projects required
  • Certifications in roadway and bridge related construction preferred
  • Be a self-motivated individual and demonstrate a strong work ethic
  • Excellent written, oral and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, time management and organizational skills
  • Work effectively in a team environment and be a team player
  • Be committed to client service and quality project delivery
