RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Project Manager in New York, NY.Overview:We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of a Campus Transition Project Manager for a position within the IT PMO (Program Management Office). The Senior Project Manager will lead security reviews, working with the site, the Vendor and the ISRM (Security and Risk Management Team within EITS) to complete these reviews. In many cases, the Corporate Compliance team is brought into these reviews as well. Security reviews are mandatory for any device/application connecting to the network and can be time consuming, depending on the device, vendor cooperation, number of meetings needed with all parties. Once the reviews are done, in many cases, a Project Manager will be managing the implementation of the devices, using existing policies and procedures established by the IT PMO. The Senior Project Manager will also be counted on to assist with cutover activities for the go-live, management of other client-related projects, etc.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Senior Project Manager formulates the project stream/program management plan, in accordance with the scope, budget, timing and quality as set by stakeholders
• Specifies the resourcing of the project, anticipated costs, risk assessment and quality standards to be used
• Leads the project team in terms of quality, spend, time, information, and organization, monitoring progress and managing all assigned project resources
• As a Senior Project Manager, you will report on issues and risks and may take ownership of same through to resolution
• Directs assigned project resources and gives them operational guidance, technically and organizationally
• Assists with third party contract management and oversight

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Baccalaureate degree or higher, from an accredited college or university preferably with a degree in Healthcare, Project Management, Hospital, Public, or Business Administration
• PMP is highly recommended
• Experience working in an Agile work environment
• Project Management tools, (i.e., MS project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
