Based in NJ, we are a leading manufacturer of pneumatic actuation products. Due to recent growth in demand for our products and services, we are in need of an experience Engineer skilled in both electrical and mechanical systems to help design and manufacture our products.
What You Will Be Doing You will be responsible for leading R&D efforts to develop new products as well as improve current products. You will be responsible for preparing prototype assemblies, performing tests, and generating reports for the results of design studies, trade studies, failure analyses, and test programs.
What You Need for this Position Must Have :
- BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of electrical and mechanical engineering experience
- Hands on experience in designing electromechanical systems such as solenoids
- 2+ years of SolidWorks experience

Nice to Have :
- Familiarity with FMEDA standards for functional safety
- Experience with EFD Flow or Maxwell
