Many products manufactured in Jaffrey, NH have had a long life cycle of >20 years. At times, the process validations conducted at the time of manufacturing introduction (RTM) have not resulted in long term stabile processes. Over the time of manufacture of these devices new equipment and materials are introduced. Although each time a change is made validations are performed, there is often not sufficient time or resources to address some of the underlying issues that resulted from the initial product introduction.

While larger volume products (i.e. sterilizing grade cartridges) are evaluated and updates and improvements are made over time, smaller volume products continue to take up large amounts of Engineering and Quality resources to maintain.

These roles will work to identify and address long term, underlying issues with a variety of manufacturing processes that require more in depth and longer term focus than a manufacturing site process engineering team may be able to devote. The initial focus will be in the Jaffrey site, where several priorities have already been identified in alignment with the site. The focus will be to address and resolve issues that perpetually lead to low yields, high resource demands for process maintenance or to address new or different technologies for problem resolution.
