Alteryx is searching for a Senior Pricing Analyst in our Broomfield, CO office (REMOTE is an option).

Position Overview:

As a Senior Pricing Analyst at Alteryx, you will be responsible for defining, testing, and iterating on pricing strategies for Alteryx Analytics Cloud. You will work with stakeholders across the entire organization to gather feedback, gain buy in, and implement pricing experiments. You are a naturally curious, abstract thinker with previous real-world experience working on enterprise SaaS pricing.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as a strong cross-functional influencer, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and previous SaaS pricing experience. They will have a keen attention to detail and a love for research and experimentation.

What you'll do:

• Analyze sales data and interface with sellers and customers to understand customer purchasing trends and highlight high-value customer
  
• Perform market research to identify addressable market and customer willingness to pay for standalone, bundled, and enterprise products
  
• Research competitor pricing and packaging to inform pricing strategies and competitive positioning
  
• Evaluate changes to market and competitor pricing, packaging, and functionality, and develop recommendations for pricing and competitive adaptive measures
  
• Design pricing experiments to increase market share and profitability and work cross-functionally with business system teams to implement and track experiments.
  
• Measure the impact of pricing and packaging changes to evaluate pricing effectiveness and help ensure that measurement data is accurate and trustworthy
  
• Inform leadership on optimal price points for different packages catering to revenue goals and target market, including analysis of bundling opportunities and add-ons
  
• Collaborate with product, finance, sales, and other business leaders to determine and set competitive prices
  
• Present research and analysis findings to product and marketing teams to help inform product roadmaps.
  
• Work closely, as a subject matter expert, with Product leadership to influence product vision, escalate risks, and manage delivery timelines and expectations.
  

Valued Skills:

• 5+ years of work experience with at least 2 years of experience driving pricing strategies for enterprise SaaS products
  
• Bachelor's degree in technical field (science, computer science, data & databases, etc.) preferred
  
• Web-based software or hosted software experience is essential for being successful in this role.
  
• Demonstrated ability to onboard quicklyandshown interest inunderstandingtechnical subjects and emerging technologies
  
• Ability to make forward-looking decisions through evaluation of risks, implementation options, and data insights.
  
• Strong project management, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across organizational teams in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  
• Effective documentation skills with ability to absorb and articulate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  
• Problem-solving skills; strategic thinking and business acumen.
  
• Excellent teamwork skills, ability to manage, interpret and influence cross-functional teams.
  
• Understanding of Alteryx's competitive landscape is abonus.
  
• Experience working with Alteryx a strong plus.
  

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The salary range for this role in Broomfield, Colorado begins at 88,400. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
