Senior Manager, Digital Service

Location:  Midwest Region: Milwaukee, WI; Detroit MI; Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN

Office location is based in Kohler, WI.  

Opportunity

The Senior Manager, Digital Service is responsible for working closely with the Kohler Power global business unit teams to understand the changing market. This new position within Digital Transformation will focus on delivering a digital service strategy, roadmap and integrating solutions that support Power Group's dealers, distributors, and end users.

Specific Responsibilities

  •  Develops, orchestrates, and executes upon strategic direction, service vision and digital capabilities roadmap for Power Group.
  •  Subject-matter expert for all aspects of digital services (telematics and intelligent connected products); including but not limited to developing customer use cases, prioritizing functional design, collaborating on data integration, optimizing performance, measuring customer adoption, and maximizing target business outcomes.
  •  Focuses on creating and enhancing compelling user experiences collaboratively with the Aftermarket Part Service teams of the Power Business Units.
  •  Intimate understanding of our customers journey experiences and their usage of our connected products & services and digital solutions.
  •  Work in the agile context collaboratively with Power Group business units while culturally, structurally, and behaviorally promoting the ability to both anticipate and adapt in time to disruption through fast decisions and disciplined risk-taking.
  •  Highlight opportunities for business unit collaboration for virtual service initiatives, minimizing internal fragmented digital transformation efforts across Power business.
  •  Anticipates and balances the need of multiple stakeholders. Identify all relevant issues and make decisions that maximizes outcomes for Power Group.
  •  Coordinate and conduct connected services workshops with channel partners in key locations to fully integrate an offering and calculate real-world return on investment.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Information Systems, or Business-related field. MBA/MS preferred.
  • 5-10 years prior experience in Service, Marketing, Product Development, or Business Intelligence with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results.
  • Demonstrated success working in a collaborative, cross-functional team capacity. 
  • Past experience in telematics and connected products is desired.
  • Technical acumen with demonstrated ability to target and trouble shoot with success. 
  • Ability to quickly learn complex concepts and digital tools that may span across analytics, project management, content management, workflow and automation domains. 
  • Strong team management and communication (written and verbal) presentation skills.
