Senior JavaScript Developer

Beacon Hill is looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer to join a growing team within one of our Enterprise Clients in Greenwood Village, CO! This role will require about 75% of time being allocated to building or maintaining systems in the cloud (AWS), 10-15% analyzing in SQL, and the remaining 5-10% meetings and working with the team. This role will be 80% backend focused and 20% front end development.

Location: Greenwood Village, CO (Hybrid remote schedule - 2 days remote/week)
Contract Duration: 3 month contract-to-hire
Compensation: $60-90/hour based upon experience - looking for right fit.

Must Have Skills:
* Strong background with JS (Node JS preferred)
* AWS experience and strong understanding of cloud systems
* Real- time data aggregation experience; hands-on experience with Druid databases would be a plus
* OLAP experience (online analytical processing)
* Strong background with SQL

Additional Preferred Skills:
* API architecture background
* Experience with real-time data streaming (awareness of Kafka/Kinesis would be great)
* Ruby scripting experience
* TypeScript, Python, bash or coding in another development language for purposes of automating repetitive tasks
