RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager (Software/App Dev) in Irvine, CA.Duties:

• Senior IT Project Manager will oversee and streamline Customer Engagement related projects across the organization and work with various domestic and global partners on future state of digital customer engagement delivery with heavy mobile app focus
• IT department is building out a new Program Management capability; Will reside in this group and be a shared resource that provides project management services throughout IT and will assist in building out this new capability
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams
• Must be able to build close partnerships, work collaboratively with various cross-functional organizations, teams/individuals across business and IT
• Will interact w/diversified project team members, SME'S, management and leadership (internal/external)
• Under minimal supervision, resource is expected to understand the business, lead projects in support of the business strategy
• Work independently and juggle multiple projects is critical, ability to execute in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
• Leading cross functional teams the position requires extensive interface with Technology, Innovation, and Business Operations
• Deliver project requirements from inception to go- live, working with cross-functional resources and providing communication and validation internally/externally through post launch
• Consult w/business partners to clarify/define project requirements and business cases; Develops/revises project plans, project artifacts
• Manage client relationship with multiple stakeholders
• Manage change control across various systems/processes; This entails full discovery, customer/client impact, root cause analysis, and resolution which include internal/external communication
• Identify project issues and facilitate resolution; Form and run sub team to resolve issues as appropriate

REQUIREMENTS:

• PMP preferred
• 5+ years of experience required; Program/Project Management experience
• Strong understanding of business process and IT Project Management processes
• Proven experience owning Software/Application Development types of projects from end to end
• Strong collaboration, cross-team facilitation skills are required
• Strong communication skills and ability to cross-collaborate and drive results to keep projects on task/on track, and keep all parties accountable to deliverables, and provide project status updates across all parties
• Leadership presence (interfacing with business leadership and client leadership)
• Must possess strong documentation skills and can work with rapid change and fast pace
• Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations
• Ability and work with and align different stakeholder groups towards consensus
• Proven ability to influence and/or lead high performing/geographically dispersed teams
• Experience with Organizational Change Management techniques as part of the overall project delivery methodology
• Excellent desktop software skills
• MS Project (must have)
• Smartsheet experience (must have)
• MS Suite: Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
• Understanding of Waterfall/Agile/Scrum methodologies/processes
