Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer Consultant may include:

• Design and implement various technology solutions for clients with high availability, disaster recovery, performance, and reliability for network and server systems.
• Lead systems analysis and ensure satisfactory performance by providing recommendations, assessments, planning, deployment, configuring, systems integration, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance of operating systems, software applications, web deployed applications, and systems security.
• Experience with system security design and management.
• Implementing and automating protective controls to reduce a clients cybersecurity attack surface for both onsite and cloud-based systems
• Familiar with blue team operations, detection engineering, threat hunting processes, and adversarial emulation to test defenses and prioritize program improvements
• Maintaining knowledge of current cyber security threats and making recommendations on mitigation strategies
• Scope and estimate the implementation of technology solutions for our clients.
• Provide mentoring and technical training for team members.
• Maintain awareness of technology trends and issues to apply that knowledge to client issues and solutions.

Who You Are

• You have a 2 year IT/Technical degree in computer science, networking, management information systems, information security or can demonstrate equivalent work experience
• You have 8+ years of experience providing support and troubleshooting for workstations and servers in a distributed environment
• MCSE, MCSA, MS-100, VCP, CCNA or at least one certification in server, desktop operating systems or similar certification or related experience beneficial.
• Advanced technical knowledge of endpoint security solutions and vulnerability management processes
• K nowledge of identity and access management, intrusion detection, incident response, threat hunting, risk management, and auditing on premise solutions and cloud solutions.
• Completion of a SANS Cybersecurity Course, GIAC Cybersecurity Certification, Offensive Security Certified Professional Certification, or equivalent information security course or certification preferred.
• You have the knowledge in network technologies including SonicWALL, Cisco, Network + certificate and intimate knowledge of the OSI model and TCPIP troubleshooting tools and techniques to troubleshoot advanced networks.
• You have prior experience with Virtualization platforms.
• You are proficient with enterprise level Microsoft technologies and a high level of professionalism.
• You have experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365, EMS, SharePoint Online, Azure and VMware
• You have recent experience implementing Azure IaaS and mail migrations to Office 365
• You have experience maintaining and engineering diverse infrastructures.
• You have the ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel up to 10% possible

Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
