Responsibilities

  • Act as the Plant financial expert and overall financial liaison between all other areas of the plant as well as the broader organization
  • Partner directly with the Plant Manager to achieve plant objectives operationally as well as financially; attends/contributes in plant production meetings
  • Partner with Accounting Shared Services to close the books monthly reviewing and validating entries as well as proposing adjustments as appropriate
  • Analysis and report to plant and corporate leadership team monthly results
  • Lead plant planning activities such as annual AOP, annual LOH standard rate update, and monthly forecasting partnering with plant/department leadership as needed
  • Track daily hours and weekly labor productivity metrics, analyze results and partner with Operations to identify and communicate opportunities and challenges
  • Participates as finance lead for projects both within the plant as well as throughout the broader organization as appropriate
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement/change through financial analysis/business partnership
  • Lead planning and execution of annual physical inventory process at the plant
  • Partner with colleagues to share best practices, strategize on standardized reporting, modeling, and process changes, as well as act as a backup
  • Manage quarterly inventory E&O reviews
  • Support consolidated efforts as required (ie cost accounting, product cost reviews, audit requests, various Ops FP&A requests, etc)

Qualifications
  • Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or similar discipline
  • 3-5 years in finance role
  • Manufacturing experience in one or more global organizations desirable
  • Supervisory experience in direct managerial role or matrix organization
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong communication
  • Strong Excel, Oracle, Longview, and financial modeling skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time, domestically within the Midwest
