Role Description

An exciting opportunity exists within the Zoetis Global Manufacturing & Supply organization for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual to support the Finance Director, Medicated Feed Additives. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial direction and driving financial performance and compliance through collaboration and partnership with key stakeholders for two manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish a strong understanding of the operations and financials and drive continuous improvement in finance processes.
  • Provide financial leadership, counsel and education to the sites including provision of regular financial updates to the leadership team and colleagues across the site.
  • Maintain compliance with US GAAP and Zoetis accounting policies and procedures, including maintenance of authorized signature limits (ASL). Co-ordinate internal and external audit activity.
  • Lead and promote a strong financial control environment including compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls.
  • Organize and prepare all financial planning, analysis and control including annual budget process, product costing, quarterly forecasting activity and monthly reporting of actual results, ensuring the timeliness and integrity of financial data.
  • Establish effective working relationships with finance and non finance colleagues at the site, with the business and other key stakeholders. Maintain close working relationship with Finance Director, External Supply and Medicated Feed Additives.
  • Provide finance leadership to the site capital and product source change decision making process, as well as playing a lead role in the ongoing site transformation and lean initiatives.
  • Provide support to Zoetis Financial Shared Service team
Qualifications

Education:
  • University degree in appropriate discipline (i.e. accounting, finance or economics)
Experience:
  • 5 - 10 years manufacturing finance experience and high level of cost accounting knowledge
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple and diverse projects
  • Demonstrated high level of customer focus
  • Ability to provide leadership to achieve a high level of financial performance and compliance
  • High level of proficiency in spreadsheet-based software applications
  • Knowledge of Zoetis MRP and accounting systems required
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Experience in a multinational environment is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
