The Senior Director, Enterprise Visibility role will be responsible for leading, coordinating and gaining alignment across all divisions in the critical area of shipment visibility. You will accomplish this by creating and developing industry leading visibility products, capabilities and solutions through crafting and managing product strategy, product development and solution delivery. You will be responsible for leading short and long-range planning and budgeting for the business, optimizing operational execution within development & production, and commercialization arenas. Our customers continue to become more global and integrated thus creating a need for CHR to better harmonize and coordinate our visibility capabilities in throughout the enterprise. The expectation would be to closely collaborate, align and partner with our Navisphere® product teams, real time visibility teams, and Enterprise Leadership to align on the product roadmap, educate the sales channels on capabilities, ensure understanding, and drive alignment across all divisions.

Responsibilities:

Strategy:

  • Develop, implement, and drive commercial strategies supporting enterprise goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth
  • Ensure global/regional strategic alignment of Initiatives
  • Communicate and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders including executive leadership team, confirming alignment on overall enterprise strategy and execution plan
  • Develop solutions and capabilities that meet and exceed the needs of our customers and stakeholders
  • Work closely with Marketing to drive initiatives, brand, and other activities necessary to attain goals

General Function Management

  • Partner with function leads, technology, and data stewards to provide enterprise visibility solutions that address key business questions / needs; solutions will include a mix of "quick wins" that demonstrate value and longer-term initiatives
  • Maintain awareness of existing and new analytical approaches and capabilities that can be leveraged
  • Cascade communications to management and employees across multiple locations as appropriate (organizational or divisional initiatives, announcements, etc.)
  • Visibly lead and support change management initiatives (communication, implementation, and reinforcement)
  • Develop and maintain external relationships representing CHR at an executive level to ensure market visibility and brand enhancement
  • Ensure that our customers, carriers and employees are informed of emerging market trends and are well positioned to adapt correctly to market changes

Talent Management:

  • Coach and develop direct and/or indirect team members towards the achievement of their career goals and performance objectives
  • Builds a deep understanding of the skills and abilities of team
  • Aligns team's passion with their potential and commits to consistently providing feedback, development opportunities and recognition
  • Create and manage first in class reporting functions to effectively measure and analyze key performance criteria's
  • Drive engagement and enablement of employees through role modelling key HR practices (talent acquisition, performance management, recognition programs, retention, talent management, team communications etc.)

P&L and KPI's:

  • P&L responsibility of Vision product
  • Define, map, and prioritize the specific business capabilities, processes and workflows needed to realize enterprise long-term vision and strategies
  • Provide periodic performance related (KPI) reports to key stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 10 years' professional experience with demonstrated ability to build a compelling vision and translate into concrete plans
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a dynamic, analytical minded, and global environment with diverse teams and customer base geographically placed internationally
  • Minimum of 5 years' direct experience in managing and leading managers and teams, preferably in a matrix environment
  • Ability to motivate, develop, coach, and manage managers and professionals
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience leading Product Development in an organization producing, marketing, and selling.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the visibility discipline
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (domestically and internationally)
