Senior Digital Product Manager - Digital Product Management

What can you expect?
The Senior Digital Product Manager - Digital Product Management will be a key member of the Global Digital Products & Partnerships team at Marsh Digital. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution for Bluestream, Marsh's global cloud-based digital insurance distribution platform that is redefining the insurance experience for businesses and consumers. We will count on you to:

  • Conceptualize and build thoughtful digital insurance experiences that are grounded in a deep understanding of the industry, love for all things data, and a passion for delighting users
  • Partner closely with our business development team to understand client needs, jointly conceptualize creative solutions, and evangelize them across prospects and clients
  • Partner cross-functionally with other product owners, engineers, designers, partner management, marketing, legal, compliance, privacy, finance and other internal partners to quarterback overall product delivery
  • Write business and technical product requirements for design and engineering teams; Thoughtfully manage and groom the product backlog
  • Rigorously apply insights from qualitative customer research and data analysis to continuously inform new feature prioritization and ongoing enhancements
  • Actively contribute to our culture of continuous learning by proactively identifying and evangelizing best practices; Play a key role in nurturing the culture of the organization
  • Manage multiple and concurrent product deliverables in various phases of ideation, execution, and delivery
  • Note: This is an individual contributor role with future growth opportunities
What you need to have:
  • 5-7 years of product management and/or new product development experience in B2B, SMB or consumer tech or insurance
  • Experience in developing and driving alignment around a vision, setting goals, and initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Experience and success in owning a product feature end-to-end; Experience in developing web/mobile app, personalization capabilities, APIs, and platforms
  • Experience in conducting customer research and analytics to understand customer sentiment and pain points, and leveraging them to make product decisions
  • Hands-on experience in (and love for) agile product delivery and lean methodologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to define a compelling narrative and crisply communicate it to a variety of audiences
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to flex thinking between high level strategy and the details that matter
  • Self-organized, process driven, and a knack for balancing the big picture with the small details that matter
  • Prior insurance industry experience a strong plus
  • Bachelor's degree required
