Job Description
The Senior Coordinator, Gift Processing is a key member of the Gift Processing team at The WNET Group, working closely with the Development team and in collaboration with Finance, manage the processing of gifts from our lockbox vendor, manage our matching gifts program and manage data exchange files between the WNET Group and third-party vendors, such as lists for tax receipts and membership cards. Specific responsibilities include:
* Manage lockbox vendor's daily batches by preparing, formatting, and importing files as well as occasional manual entry. Coordinate and communicate status of mail between mailroom and lockbox vendor. Communicate with vendors to resolve payment and file-related issues. Identify and problem solve processing exceptions.
* Manage membership and patron acknowledgement letters by providing weekly reports to third party vendor for membership cards and providing tax receipts to the Patron team. Manage monthly program guides list, including troubleshooting donor inquiries on missing guides.
* Process corporate matching gift forms for submission to Finance and verify all matching gifts. Process and enter matching gifts into the database when they are received. Help to troubleshoot inquiries from Development staff and donors regarding issues pertaining to matching gifts.
* Process all chargebacks on a monthly basis.
* Works on database and data clean-up projects, reviewing and updating data, and/or conducting data entry to input lists, records, and other data points as projects require.
* Additional responsibilities, as needed.

Qualified candidates will be detail oriented and organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. In addition, the successful candidate will be an effective communicator with the ability to work at all levels across the organization. Additional qualifications include:

* At least 1 year of experience working with a CRM database including, data entry, uploading bulk data.
* Ability to analyze gifts, financial and statistical record-keeping techniques;
* Ability to learn database and complex data entry codes and procedures quickly and efficiently.

Candidates with the following experience are preferred: Development office, nonprofit, cultural or higher education setting; working with matching gifts.
