We're looking for a Senior Content Designer to join our small but established team.In this role, the Senior Content Designer will create UX content for our Online products. This role will focus on features for accountants and how they interact with their clients. You will work closely with experience designers and product management to define problem areas. You will work together to gather customer insights through interviews, testing, and iterating towards ideal state. You will be a key part of building customer-backed solutions that make sense to both accountants and their customers.Duties:- Create and deliver UX content for company products
- Transform complex accounting and tax jargon into conversational, approachable language so both experts and newbies can navigate the product successfully
- Collaborate effectively without the need for defined deliverables
- Proactively identify opportunity areas to improve content and test to validate assumptions
- Work on multiple projects at a time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately
- Apply QuickBooks voice, tone, and other standards
- Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends
- Conceptualize a broad spectrum of ideas and then narrow based on experimentation and customer research
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Interaction Design, or other relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing or UX content writing, content strategy, technical content, journalism, etc.
- Understands accounting concepts and terms; ideally has used accounting software before
- Experience crafting UX content for mobile products and apps
- Familiarity or experience designing for apps that leverage AI or machine learning
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
