Job Description
Position Title: Senior Cloud/ETL Developer

Clearance Level: Suitability clearance

Location: Remote

Program Details & Summary:

Interview Process: 1 with technical team, at most 2.
Location: Remote

• Must be US Citizen to be eligible for suitability clearance
• Minimum of 10 years of IT experience with demonstrated hands-on expertise
• 3+ years of experience with complex Python scripting and bash scripting
• 3+ years experience with development and support activities in cloud-based environments using big data technologies such as as Scala, Spark, PySpark, Presto, Ranger, Hadoop, XML, and Hive etc.
• Experience with Amazon Cloud environment (AWS) utilizing tools such as S3, EMR, Databricks, Data Lakes, AWS Glue, Amazon StageMaker, Amazon Redshift etc.
• Data Lakes and AWS Glue are preference out of the above skills, would also consider Azure.
• Design, development and tuning of complex ETL/ELT processes involving massive data

Nice to Have:

• AWS developer certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jira, including managing projects and backlogging

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, development, implement and operational support of the data models, ETL, Data Sourcing processes and related software programs.
• Support in the adoption of cloud-based technologies such as Spark/PySpark, Databricks, Scala, AWS Glue and S3.
• Cooperate with a wide range of stakeholders such as end users, SMEs, and technical staff from data vendors.
