You would be hired as a permanent SogetiConsultant. An expert in field who will provide guidance and experience avariety of exciting projects, work within different workplaces with diverseteams and various industries. As Senior Business Analyst, you willanalyze and document business requirements across various development projectsand implementations. You will be a key liaison between business system users,technology development, and support teams, ultimately being responsible forapplying analytical skills to elicit, analyze, document, and define functionaland technical requirements, new application features, and system enhancements.In addition, you will be to participate as part of the product management teamto define new product features as part of the long-term product roadmaps.

This role plays an integral part of theDelivery and Services team and will work closely with colleagues ranging fromthe President to Developers. Candidates need to possess an understanding oftechnology solutions like portals, content management, process automation and expertisein project execution using methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, etc. Inaddition, candidates should have full technical knowledge of all phases ofbusiness/systems analysis and understanding of SOW's and other deliverables.


We are looking for a bright minded,self-motivated, team player with a strong background and skilled with a highdegree of intellectual curiosity and abilities with:

Gathering high-quality softwarefunctional and non-functional requirements in an Agile development environment.

Interviewing stakeholders, documentingand completing workflow analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits,software selection, business process definition and optimization, and use caseproduction.

Leading discussions on design anduser-experience requirements with annotated wires and design (comps)deliverables.

Working with Product Owner to developcases, prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on thosewith maximum business value that are aligned with product strategy and ROI.

Verifying that all requirements aretestable and generating testing objectives.

Assisting in operational rollout andsupport of software development team. Consulting with and advising productmanagers when defining product release content and timeline.

Determining the impact of modificationsand enhancements on the application. Acting as the Product(s) Subject Matterexpert to support scope and requirement decisions.

Assisting/leading Agile ceremonies andrituals: Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demos,Sprint Retrospectives.

In partnership with the Scrum Master,serving as the conduit between the business users and the development teams,ensuring that project deliverables are met according to the agreed anddocumented business requirement, and supporting change around the deployment ofnew business processes.

Assisting in performing cost/benefit analysisto align the technology to business strategy.

Assisting Project/Program Managers obtainsign off on requirements.


Bachelors degree in a relevant fieldand/or equivalent experience.

Certification in one or more - AgileScrum, specifically Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and/or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Business System Analyst Certification preferred (IIBA) preferred.

At least 3 or more years businessanalysis experience.

Agile methodology, writing user stories,managing scrum calls, prioritizing backlog, etc.

Working with stakeholders and others toidentify, clarify, articulate product vision, and determining acceptablesolutions.

Demonstrating how to conduct storymapping and user story writing sessions to create a product backlog.

Delivering requirements forconsumer-facing web and mobile solutions.

Using appropriate Agile ProjectManagement tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, VersionOne, or equivalent.

Understanding of software systems,technologies, and software development practices.

Project management and leadership and abilityto see tasks through to completion without significant guidance.

Being a problem solver, proactive,self-organizing, and self-motivated.

Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.

Able to embrace change and ambiguity.

Content management systems such as AdobeExperience Manager, Drupal, WordPress, Sitecore, or similar is highly desired.

Financial services with a preference forfintech, insurance (claims, underwriting, broker business) is highly desired

Nice to have:

Working on smaller projects lead scrumevents such as the daily standup, demonstrations, and post-launchretrospectives.

Communicating requested changes,enhancements, and modifications of business requirements verbally or throughwritten documentation to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders sothat issues and solutions are understood, and a change control process can bemanaged.

Serving as a liaison with the QualityAssurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) teams. Supporting QA CaseStudy authoring as needed.

Participating in design reviews and the UATprocess.
