Saputo Dairy Foods USA is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with experience in a hybrid role, requiring both technical expertise and the ability to understand and communicate business performance. This position will play an integral role in defining and implementing process and performance improvements related to data warehousing, reporting & analytics, and forecast/budget planning supporting the Sales and Commercial organization.

How you will make contributions that matter...

• Enhancing and Maintaining data models used to drive the following key process cycles:
  
  • Weekly/Monthly Reporting
  • Performance Analytics comparing budget and prior periods
  • Periodic Forecast Planning
  • Annual Budget Planning
• Current data warehouse developed in SQL-based structure, but long-term strategy is to develop all reporting and analytics in SAP supported software tools.
• Assisting in the development of dynamic reporting dashboards to support the business needs for a granular understanding of both volumetric and financial performance.
• Be able to articulate and communicate findings to influence business decisions.
• Demonstrating a high level of subject matter expertise in functional area to bridge business requirements and IT solutions; provide technical direction and ensure compliance with best practice solutions.

You are best suited for the role if you...

• Education - Bachelor's or higher degrees in Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience - A minimum of 4-7 years' experience in a financial role requiring business analytics including: SQL/Database management and monitoring, financial analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Experience in consumer products, manufacturing or consultancy environment is a plus.
• Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis and able to identify common approaches across a fragmented analytical environment and develop technical solutions.
• Additional Qualifications - (1) Expert in SQL-based coding and Microsoft Excel modeling. (2) Knowledge of SAP and Power BI. (3) Strong analytical, financial modeling, and critical reasoning skills. (4) Excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to express key points in a concise manner. (5) Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs. (6) Must be a strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
