RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client in Waltham, Massachusetts (MA) is seeking to hire a remote Senior Accountant.Summary:This client is a consulting company with a focus in life sciences. They have a flexible and dynamic work environment and is a positive place to work. They also offer training and mentorship from management. Senior Accountant will offer a competitive benefits and compensation package that includes health/dental, 401K, unlimited vacation time, etc. and this role will be fully remote.Responsibilities include:

• Review, analyze, and process accounting transactions
• Prepare, record, and post journal entries
• Organize invoices, bills, and deposits
• Senior Accountant will oversee purchasing and AP files
• Administer payroll
• Assist with audit preparation
• Prepare reports and analyze financial information
• Senior Accountant will assist with financial statement preparation
• Identify and resolve accounting issues
• Develop and document processes and policies
• Review and recommend changes to accounting systems
• Senior Accountant will participate in special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA is preferred
• 5+ years of related experience
• Experience in public accounting
• Experience with commercial clients
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience in the life sciences industry is preferred
