Our client is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to bring on and assist with the day to day operations. Advanced understanding of Excel is a must and any ERP accounting software expereince will be considered.
Location: St. Louis, MO
- Responsibilities:
- Complete month-end close assigned, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations and analysis for complex accounts.
- Assist with analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly basis and report on variances.
- Reconcile asset and liability account balances, maintaining general ledger and executing assigned month-end close procedures.
- Assist with review of calculation and analysis of prepaid and accrued expenses.
- Review accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and correct entries.
- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
- Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of solid experience in a Senior Accountant or similar level role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- General ledger accounting, financial close, reporting and audit experience.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills; able to adapt for audience.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and accuracy; able to manage and prioritize detailed work/projects with competing deadlines and instinctually follow-up.
