RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Level 2 Scrum Master to join their team on a 6-month contract to hire basis. Candidates need to be local to Cincinnati, have great communication skills, strong agile background, and 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master. This is a data heavy team, so any experience working on data product teams would be helpful.Summary:In this role, the Scrum Master will act as a servant leader and coach for the Consultant team. They will educate the team in principles and practices to ensure Agile process is followed. The Scrum Master will eliminate impediments to allow the team to focus on achieving goals committed. Responsibilities:
  • Foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics and continuous improvement
  • Enable team to self-organize, self-manage & deliver via Lean-Agile practices
  • Support and reinforce the rules of Scrum, built-in quality practices, WIP limits and all other process rules the team has agreed on
  • Foster collaboration and transparence between teams, internal and external
  • Facilitate team progress toward daily team and iteration goals in support of company objectives and key results (OKR)
  • Lead team efforts in relentless improvements through retrospectives and problem-solving techniques
  • Lastly, they will Foster a team culture of technical discipline and craftsmanship to constantly improve the quality of their deliverables


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • Great communication skills
  • Strong agile background
  • Scrum master experience in a complex large-scale enterprise
  • Experience in an agile environment in other roles, such as quality assurance, development, product owner, or as an agile coach
  • Proven knowledge and experience with agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and mentor the team to reach their highest potential. Excellent team player and team builder
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with diverse personality types
  • Ability to understand technical issues at a high level and communicate agile methodologies within the organization
  • Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Strong ability to manage multiple agile teams and ensure a proper balance between PMO (Project Management office, business and technology teams and management)
  • Must be self-motivated as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex problems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Any experience working on data product teams is nice to have, as this is a data heavy project


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
