Summary:

The Zoetis ERP Delivery functions are a part of the Zoetis Tech and Digital (ZTD) Organization. The ERP Delivery functions are responsible for the delivery of Zoetis SAP Projects and enhancements for Enterprise ERP and related application solutions based primarily based on the SAP technology platform

The role is responsible for all global planning system solutions implemented at Zoetis and will report to the Director - Planning, Manufacturing & Logistics ITS, in the ERP Delivery Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Junior SAP Solution Architect / Functional Designer with a focus on SAP APO Planning related solutions
  • Requirements gathering and estimation for SAP Project requests
  • Perform thorough analysis to identify all potential impacts for project/enhancement requests
  • Management of a diverse team of colleagues, consultants, and/or contractors
  • Coaching/Training others to bring them up to speed quickly and making them productive members of the functional team.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn existing Business Processes and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines (e.g. SAP capability, Standard industry best practice)
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-divisional and cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to work independently, effectively coordinating multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing environment and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience in international environments with co-existence of global accounting and local statutory needs
  • Support Business Partners preparing business cases for ZTD investment
  • Follow governance processes that facilitate business prioritization
  • Review and analyze enhancement requests to determine complexity and provide resource/cost estimates
  • Lead small projects / enhancements as required, as well as contribute as a team member on larger project teams
  • Complete SAP APO configuration
  • Update and maintain all SAP/WRICEF functional documentation
  • Conduct Unit tests, Integration tests, and Regression tests

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or Supply Chain related Business field required

Experience:
  • 8+ years of SAP APO experience in Global Planning areas with multiple full life cycle implementations
  • IBP certification and/or experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience of various IT practices, including but not limited to, project management, operational service delivery, large project implementations
  • Experience in international environments with co-existence of global accounting and local statutory needs
  • Proven ability to quickly learn existing Business Processes and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines (e.g. SAP capability, Standard industry best practice) in order to produce an optimal business solution
  • Demonstrated ability to work across organizational regional and global boundaries, ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-divisional and cross-functional environment
  • Ability to work independently, effectively coordinating multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing environment and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Adept at understanding customer challenges, navigating from problem to resolution and communicating process and resolution effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to interact comfortably with all levels of management and staff
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams
  • Strategic Application of Information Systems and business analysis
  • Experience in life sciences / pharmaceuticals industry preferred

Technical/Functional Competencies:
  • Extensive experience in several of the following areas:
    • SAP APO Demand Planning (DP)
      • Collaborative demand and supply planning
    • SAP APO Supply Network Planning (SNP)
      • Returns Planning
      • Inventory Planning / Optimization
      • Product Subcontracting
    • SAP APO Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)
      • Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP)
    • SCM / BI Integration and Reporting
    • SAP IBP experience strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Ability Requirements:
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must
