The Sales Training Manager - Bilingual (English and Spanish) is responsible for developing and delivering curriculum, field coaching, and executing training objectives with the goal to achieve and exceed sales objectives for the Americas. This position will support the Cepheid University Sales Training process

This position is part of the sales support and administration department and will be a remote position reporting to the Sr. Director, Sales Training and Development, Americas. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Exercises classroom management, including learner performance, and escalates issues within Sales Training and to Sales Leadership when necessary. Exhibit exceptional interpersonal communication skills to foster and strengthen relationships with matrix and business partners to support training initiatives.

• Field travel to coach field-based sales reps and sales leadership. Maintain and execute on a strategic 3-year training plan for both Cepheid sales associates and channel partners.

• Partner with Sales, Clinical Solutions, and Marketing management leadership to assess training needs, develop an implementation plan, and create, lead, and facilitate learning/training initiatives.

• Demonstrate of innovation through creative Adult Learning techniques in both the development and delivery of content.

• Utilizes project management skills, including project milestones, scope, goals, deliverables, resources, timing, etc. Exhibits exceptional interpersonal communication skills to foster and strengthen relationships with matrix and business partners to support training initiatives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• BA/BS in Training, Instructional Design, E-Learning, other Learning disciplines with 8+ years of related work experience OR Master's degree with 6+ years of related work experience OR Doctoral degree with 3+ years of work experience in

• 5 years of formal training experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background AND 5 years of documented sales experience exceeding goals required.

• Fluent in English and Spanish

• Ability to travel 75%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Ability to speak Portuguese

• Healthcare, Medical Device or Diagnostic, Capital Equipment, and/or Lab Equipment experience.

• Proficiency in learning technology, online tools and systems: LMS, Content Management, and Salesforce.com.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is 120,000 - 140,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
