TSI is a global leader in providing critical systems and solutions to protect people and products. TSI's Contamination Control group provides specialized particle counters for classifying and monitoring cleanrooms as well as counting total and viable particles in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments to reduce aseptic interventions. In addition to the above, TSI pairs its particle counters with additional environmental sensors to create complete environmental monitoring systems' solutions.

With the introduction of several unique environmental monitor solutions, TSI's Contamination Control group is expanding and looking for highly motivated, achievement oriented, energetic, curious, enthusiastic, well-organized and results driven individuals who are knowledgeable in cleanroom monitoring and applications related to environmental monitoring in general. In this role as an individual contributor, the CC Sales Specialist will be responsible for direct sales as well as sales via a network of channel partners in an assigned geography. This position will plan and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales volumes consistent with TSI's business goals.

What Will You Do?
  • Identify, develop and close new sales opportunities
    • Develop new customer relationships through consultative type of selling to the end users, via an effective discovery of their needs, and the utilization of product demonstrations to build uncommon value
    • Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads, strategic outbound cold calls, emails and referrals and follow up in a timely fashion to maintain an active opportunity pipeline
  • Leverage existing customer relationships through follow up, introduction of new products/solutions and training efforts resulting in increased business and number of referrals
  • Work collaboratively, as part of a bigger team, to sell solutions to our customers (i.e. team-selling with application engineers, project managers and service technicians)
  • Work collaboratively with corresponding channel partners in the assigned geography. Develop and maintain relationships with channel partner ownership group, key staff and help them implement sales strategies and initiatives to maximize sales revenues in their territories
  • Proactively research, ask, listen and clarify data in order to gain insight regarding fast-paced segments within the served markets,pharmaceutical
  • Attend and actively participate (as a speaker/presenter) in appropriate conferences and tradeshows as the TSI brand ambassador and give company overview or technical/product presentations at various organizations or technical committees
  • Work collaboratively with TSI's Marketing team on:
    • Market development and customer segmentation
    • Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to uncover and validate new requirements and features of our products/solutions
    • Feedback related to new applications, win/loss analysis and competitive intelligence related to competitive products/pricing/sales and marketing activities
  • Provide monthly forecast and commentary, actively document sales activity and opportunity pipeline in Salesforce system and use such tools for analysis, administrative responsibilities, expense management, and territory planning
  • Complete other assignments and special projects as requested
  • Collaborate with other TSI sales teams in Europe and Asia Pacific to maximize revenue from these global key accounts.

What Do You Need

Required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of +5 years technical sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding individual sales targets
  • Proficiency in customer management software (SAP CRM or Salesforce)
  • Experience developing and maintainingeffective sales strategies.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales scenarios with multiple buying influences and levels of purchasing approval
  • Robust understanding of selling capital equipment and software to an industrial customer base in the pharmaceutical, semiconductor, electronics, automotive, battery or aerospace industries

Desired
  • Cleanroom or pharmaceutical industry related coursework or certifications
  • Experience selling systems which include software and hardware components
  • Working knowledge of clean spaces, cleanroom design and cleanroom operation.
  • Participation in industry associations such as ISPE, PDA, and technical committees related to the pharmaceutical industry can be highly valued
  • Formal sales training in complex selling environments (i.e. Miller Heiman Strategic and Conceptual Selling, Challenger or similar)

*Travels ~50-60% to meet with customers, attend conferences, trade shows etc.
