Caterpillar's Global Construction and Infrastructure (GCI) division is looking for a talented Sales Representative to cover two of our dealers, Western States and HGI, in the U.S. Northwest.

In this role, you will manage assigned dealers' relationships to market company products and services and assist in the development of dealer sales capability to achieve sales and services growth.

What You Will Do (Job Duties)

  • Design and assist dealers on the forecast, sales/rental/used strategy planning, and sales techniques; supporting the rollout of new products
  • Perform regular sales performance reviews with dealers and ensuring implementation of corrective actions where needed
  • Act within the business process guidance on review and approval for variance programs and commercial actions
  • Present products or services for stakeholders, answering any customer questions, and addressing their needs
Skills You Have
  • Working knowledge of industry trends and regulatory environment
  • Ability to engage and negotiate with others to achieve win-win solutions
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills combined with strong customer focus mindset
  • Ease at establishing and managing relationships with various internal and dealer/customer audience
  • Value selling skills to translate offerings and solutions into dollarized customer benefits
  • Ability to accurately analyze situations , prioritize issues and organize data for effective decision making
Top Candidates Will Also Have
  • Previous experience in commercial (sales, marketing, product support) roles involving dealer and/or customer facing interactions
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products and applications
  • Strong drive and organizational capabilities
Additional Details
  • Ability to travel extensively within territory: up to 60%
  • Work location: Renton, Washington or Boise, Idaho
  • Additional work locations within the covered territory may be considered
  • Domestic relocation assistance is available to Boise, ID or Renton, WA only
  • ISE assignment is not available
Summary Pay Range:
$108,360.00 - $162,480.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
