The Sales Planning Intern is responsible for supporting the SS&P Team related to sales activation activities, execution of the business unit's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the team's attainment of Poultry & Prepared Foodservice business goals. They are responsible for maintaining internal reports using Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, and other internal systems. They will assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, samples, and product cuttings, as well as any other project needs or ad hoc requests of the SS&P teams. This role will work with Sales team members to enhance CRM integrity and provide reporting to measure CRM activities and field compliance. Based on initiative, this position offers the potential for exposure to: Business Units, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, FSQA, Revenue Management, Business Planning, and enhancement of computer skills. This position will report to the Director, Prepared Foodservice SS&P, while also directly supporting the Prepared Foodservice SS&P Director.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Incoming junior, senior, or MBA with at least one year of school remaining required. Business, Finance, Supply Chain or Animal Science majors preferred

Experience: Previous work experience preferred

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, including outlook, and basic understanding on internet.

Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: A successful candidate for an Intern position should possess the following: Be a motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn from others; ability to work independently or as part of a team; strong problem-solving skills; time management and multi-tasking abilities; and strong interpersonal skills.

Position-Specific Requirements: This position is a year-round internship where the selected candidates is expected to work in person full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer and in person part time during the school year (20 hours per week.) This is a paid internship located at our Springdale, Arkansas World Headquarters.
