The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for providing support to the North America Sales team at Cepheid. The Sales Operations Analyst will be supporting and advising the sales organization to generate accurate contracts and quotes with a focus on reducing cycle time.


This position is part of the North America Commercial Operations team and will be located in Sunnyvale, CA. This position is hybrid.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Contracts, Revenue Compliance, and Legal teams to solve complex contracting problems
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for contracting policy and the contract approval process for assigned sales region
  • Engage with sales executives throughout the sales cycle to assist with contract structuring, pricing, quoting, contract vehicle options, available promotions, etc.
  • Work cross-functionally to continuously improve overall operational processes as well as document and communicate current policies, processes, and templates
  • Deploy, manage, and scale a best-in-class workflow, considerate of our partners, customers, and business complexity
  • Lead or participate in projects as needed by department manager

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related work experience
  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in deal structuring and commercial contracts concepts

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Contracting with GPOs, IDNs, health systems, and distributors in the US
  • Salesforce.com navigation, workflows, and reporting
  • Ability to work well under pressure, deal with ambiguity, and effectively manage changing priorities

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
