Sales Manager, Leader - Stone, Sales, Masonry Senior Sales Manager - Leading Territory Sales Pros in the Stone, Masonry, Building Materials industries.
NE USA area VA to ME - Ideally based in the Larger METRO areas of Richmond, VA...Washington, DC....or Philadelphia, PA, but there is flexibility.

We are currently seeking a talented, organized and professional Senior Sales Manager, who will take on a KEY management level role, leading and directing, guiding and growing the efforts of a team of Field/Territory Sales professionals covering the Northeast USA.


This role will be a field/work from home type role, where you can work out of your home office, when not visiting with existing or potential customers in the field, representing the company in a professional manner to promote our products and creating relationships that will allow for market expansion and product sales.

Typically, this will be an 80/20% traveled role...mostly on the road/in a car, but via the airport from time to time ( Large clients, trade shows, Meetings, etc.)

This role is with a company in the building products space, specifically masonry/stone products that are sold to builders, contractors, etc....through direct and channel sales.

The key to this role will be the TEAM LEADERSHIP of Sales professionals with their day to day development/maintenance of relationships with customers and prospects that will include decision makers at: Distributors, Home Builders, Masonry Contractors, Regional and Local Production Builders, Multi-Family Builders, Architects and Colorists.

In terms of the PRIORITY of what we need from this MANAGER, this is what we are looking at:

- FIRST PRIORITY - a Strong Leader, who can build strategies, create plans, get a following and buy-in from the team and lead the team to growth.
- SECOND PRIORITY - Someone who knows the GENERAL BUILDING PRODUCTS space, and who has worked in a sales/leadership role within....Knowing the channels, being able to build relationships, expand existing contacts, etc.
- THIRD PRIORITY - Specific Masonry/Stone products experience, while helpful, is not the KEY to the role, but it can absolutely help. We would welcome those with an existing background and history working with and supporting the needs of these segments and key customers within the segments, as well as previous experience promoting Building Products, Construction products including Roofing materials, Fenestration products, siding and trim products, interior/exterior stone and cultured stone products, etc.


In this role, your role will be two-fold:

- On one hand you will lead, track, guide, train and push/pull your team to sales successes in their assigned territories, leading a team of 4-5 Territory Sales Pros.
- Secondly, you will work to help with Channel Sales and some of the larger accounts, larger clients, etc.



This will be a Base salary, plus commission/bonus compensation plan, based on the experience of the candidate.

- The salary offered in this role will depend on experience, but our target range is in the 125-160K on the base, with an additional 20-40% earning potential through sales incentives and based on the performance of your team, your efforts, your region.
