Sales Coordinator

Work Mode: Remote

The Sales Coordinator role encompasses all standard Associate Sales Coordinator responsibilities and assigned projects/complex tasks that involve advanced problem-solving skills. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Check status on all open orders for assigned accounts and/or ticketing system and report on status to Supervisor.
  • Maintain detailed database of all activity per sales order and/or PO numbers.
  • Coordinate delivery and off-loading requests to Direct Dealers.
  • Process manual invoices for Direct Dealers with required supporting documentation.
  • Process debits and credits, freight invoicing and other accounting tasks and resolve any invoicing issues for our customers.
  • Maintains and reports on performance metrics.
  • Coordinate third party vendor relationships and the flow of vendor information.
  • Assist with BOM maintenance and inventory control measures.
  • Work on assigned projects such as SAP upgrades.
  • Create and work at an advanced level in MS Word, and databases such as Access and Excel.

Skills/Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, accounting or computer science is preferred.  Knowledge of manufacturing environment would be very desirable.

Responsible self-starter who will work independently to meet deadlines and commitments to support the division.  Must take ownership of projects.  Must be accurate and thorough in execution of tasks. 

Candidate should be a proactive, analytical thinker with good judgment and curiosity to identify and solve underlying problems, suggest programs and study alternative methods of operation.  Good problem solving skills and writing skills are required.  Good planning and organization skills are a must to juggle multiple projects.  Should project a professional image with external and internal customers. 

Familiarity with the Residential Generator Division businesses and products is preferred. 

Skilled use of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), Access and PowerPoint, as well as an in-depth knowledge of SAP sales functions preferred.  Knowledge of a second language would also be helpful.
