We have exciting opportunities for Registered Nurses to work on an innovative, new, state of the art, Acute Psychiatric Service (APS), located within the Emergency Department of the Massachusetts General Hospital. This new, 20- bed acute psychiatry unit caring for adult and pediatric behavioral patients; many with medical co-morbidities, will be a unique setting for nurses with a passion for psychiatric nursing to practice. This dedicated behavioral health unit will be a secure environment providing milieu therapy with a team approach including nurses, psychiatric providers, mental health workers, PCA's, social workers and occupational therapists.

36 hours per week D/N rotation with weekend and holiday requirements.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of Psychiatric Nursing experience or a minimum of 1 year of medical/emergency department nursing experience with a demonstrated interest in psychiatric nursing is required.
