The Division of Athletics & Recreation at the University of Denver is currently seeking part-time event operation associates to assist with the execution of events at the Daniel L. Ritchie Center for Sports and Wellness.

Position Summary

Event Operation Associates are responsible for assisting with a variety of event day operations at the Daniel L. Ritchie Center for Sports & Wellness.

These are non-benefited, part-time positions not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

Essential Functions

  • Support the division of Athletics and Recreation with its execution of Ritchie Center event operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Provide excellent customer service for all Ritchie Center participants and customers.
  • Recognize and respond effectively and efficiently to emergencies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Able to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Expertise in area of specificity and able to maintain all required certifications and licensures as they pertain to the role.
Required Qualifications
  • As required for the specific role within event operations.
Work Schedule
Part-time, hours will vary.

    The salary grade numbers are 3-7 depending upon the position.

    Hourly Range
    The hourly range for this position is $15.00 - $40.00.

    The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.
